Baja Rancho Art offers art workshops at Rancho La Bellota, a 2,800-acre horse ranch located just 1½ hours south of the U.S.–Tecate border in Baja California, Mexico. Rancho La Bellota is a “Certified Land Managed Unit for Wildlife Conservation” (UMA) in Mexico and has been certified by the Mexican government as a destination resort for horseback riding and bird watching.

As part of your stay at the ranch, Rancho La Bellota offers a wide range of trails for all levels of hikers and riders to enjoy, all of which are geared towards specific scenic destinations. Hike through shady oak groves, hidden water pools, quiet secluded valleys and vast mountain ranges.

La Bellota Trail: The most popular trail and perfect for all abilities. Explore the mountain valleys, hidden canyons and quiet oak groves of La Bellota.
Zaragoza Trail: Perfect for all abilities. This trail takes you on quiet canyon paths with sloping hillsides along a seasonal creek.
Venado Trail: For advanced hikers who like a challenge and want to explore our scenic mountaintops.
Guadalupe Wine Country Trail: A serious ride through rolling hills to the Guadalupe Valley where we can visit one of Guadalupe Valle’s local artisan wine makers. Advanced planning required.
